pH de carbonate de sodium

pH is a measure of the hydrogen ion ( H+) activity in a solution and, therefore, its acidity or alkalinity. Values for some common bases: 10.6. Barbital sodium. Calcium carbonate. Calcium hydroxide. Ferrous hydroxide. Potassium acetate. Potassium bicarbonate.
The normal present day pH of seawater is more on the basic side between 7,9 – 9,0. At this pH the HCO3 ions predominate. Carbonate ion concentrations increase with increasing pH and when more CO2 dissolves in seawater it becomes more acidic. This can be better understood by looking at Fig. 1. Fig. 1
Calcium carbonate (CaCO 3) scale deposition causes serious issues in industries which deal with water, and its formation reaction is pH-depending.This study investigated the efficiency of sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP) as scale inhibitor for calcium carbonate, as a function of pH and SHMP concentration, under drastic …

This website claims that if you add $pu{50 mL}$ of $pu{0.05 M}$ sodium bicarbonate, and $pu{5 mL}$ of $pu{0.1 M}$ sodium hydroxide (and dilute to $pu{100 mL}$), you should create a solution with $mat{pH }= 9.6$. I'm struggling a bit getting this result. My attempt: The sodium bicarbonate reaction would be:

An aqueous solution of sodium carbonate has basic pH because carbonate ions hydrolize to yield hydroxide ions plus bicarbonate ions. Even just starting with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), the pH is basic: around 8.3 for reasonable concentrations. So why is this bountied question at all? – Ed V Mar 25, 2020 at 13:10

Sodium carbonate has a melting point of 851°C, it decomposes when heated and therefore a boiling point can not be determined. Sodium carbonate is an inorganic salt and therefore the vapour pressure can be considered negligible. Its water solubility is 215 g/l at 20°C. The average particle size diameter (d 50) of light sodium carbonate is in the
